Happy Green Year!

I've updated our blog's colour to reflect our household's way of living.

Since buying our home, we've (well, mostly George but I happily comply) have made a number of significant improvements to help the environment while saving us some money. Examples include:
• New energy efficient windows
• New 95% efficient furnace
• New energy star washing machine
• Outdoor clothesline for spring, summer and fall
• Indoor clothesline in spare room during winter (In fact, when our dryer broke down, we didn't even replace it!)

In addition to these upgrades, you can usually find George walking around on weekends with his cocking gun filling various holes. (Get your mind out of the gutter! He's filling holes in the walls!)

Here's to a new, greener year!

Boxing Day

We spent the day at my sister's and always, had a great time. Dinner table conversation was lively to say the least, the movie was absolutely horrible (the singing in Mama Mia! was atrocious!) and the food was delicious.

In the afternoon we went tobogganing at a local hill. At the bottom of the hill there was a little ramp, which normally would be a good thing. However, beneath the ramp was chunks of ice. And since our toboggan didn't have shocks, my ass is incredibly soar today. Aside from that one hill, rest of 'bogganning was great.

Today we are off to my aunt's for more turkey.

merry christmas!

Another Christmas come and gone. It always sneaks up on you and then, poof, it's over. I'd like to take the tree down today but George insists on waiting until after new year. This year he is responsible for taking the damn thing down!

George and I had a lovely day. After a big breakfast of bacon, eggs and pillsbury biscuits, we snuggled up in front of the fireplace to open our gifts. Of course, the dogs got to kick things off with their stocking full of squeeky toys and bones. Kept 'em busy for a few hours.

The humans then got down to the important stuff! George gave me a gift certificate for a new motorcycle helmet (That's going to go with my new motorcycle in the spring i hope!) as well as a gorgeous copper watering, plus a stocking full of some wicked fun stuff. I got George some fishing gear (we hop
e to head up north this summer) and a heating blanket.
Afterwards we plunked ourselves down on the couch and watched the most traditional Christmas movie ever - Band of Brothers. Nothing like a war movie to keep things festive.

The heated blanket came in handy later in the day as george ate too many of my fine chocolatey cookies
and wasn't feeling too great :(

On a brighter note... I made a 13 pound turkey for the first time and it turned out great! George did the traditional thing and carved it up. Made all the trimmings, too, including a mincemeat pie (although we were too stuffed to dig into that.)

Today begins our 3 days of family adventures! Wish us luck.

Happy holidays and
a glorious new year to all!

Wow, so much has happened since last posting.

For starters, we got married! Fantastic day. The weather was a bit overcast but no rain (well, a little bit near 11pm but by then we didn't really care.) Highlights include Mom's speech, George's best man's speech, the drag queen and of course... the food! The ceremony itself was pretty great too. George cried like a schoolgirl whilst I was like the Rock of Gibraltar. People are still talking about the food. My best recollection is the smoked salmon and steak. Delicious.

I still can't get over the amount of work my sister and her husband did. No question, the wedding would not have happened without their help.

The next day we hopped on an airplane and made our way to Portugal for two fabulous weeks of incredible food, glorious sights, delicious coffee and four days of sandy beaches.

Since that time we've been back to work.

Oh, and we've unofficially started the adoption process. More to come on that at a later date.

Wedding Update

Well, our wedding is getting closer and everything is shaping up. of course there have been a few hickups, like the guy who was going to make the most fabulous wedding cake ever has had an accident and is unable to use his hands. No worries - our back up plan may not be as over-the-top, but it's going to be super duper delicious.

After spending many weekends looking for our rings, we thought we'd end up with something pretty generic. But then one day we were walking along Queen st in the beaches and decided to pop into a cute little store and there they were: the most gorgeous, original rings ever! They cost a bit more than we expected but are SOOOO worth it. Individually made by an artist in Calgary. George's is even an award-winning design.

We still have a few small things to do but all is looking good. now we start watching the weather reports...

Long story short... our dryer went kaput back in the spring. So we decided to make David Suzuki proud and we purchased a clothes line. Unfortunately, the first one was kinda cheap and it only lasted a few months. So we got the Rolls Royce of clotheslines recently. George was kind enough to hook it up to our upstairs patio wall which is just steps from our washing machine. So convenient and green. Clothes smell great. Although we're not looking forward to winter cause we're gonna have to buy and dryer now!

As far as we know, no one has complained about seeing our undies floating in the wind.

Timmmberrrrrr

Well, our fight with city hall wasn't much of a fight. More like a whimper.

Turns out "the arborist found the tree in poor condition due to a recent storm break, and a hollow cavity in main stem. The arborist recommended that the tree be removed and replaced."

How do you argue with that?

As of today our tree still stands but its days are numbered. However, on a brighter note we've begun making future plans. With the tree gone, our front property will have a whole lot more sun, and a great big empty spot where the tree once stood. So we're thinking of turning it into a vegetable patch next year.

The tree in question is just behind and to the left of the stop sign.

We've become radicals!

Not too long ago we found out that the city is planning on chopping down one of our gorgeous oak trees. It definitely needs trimming as some of its branches are touching wires... but chop it down! No fucking way.

I've sent off a pleasant but forcefully worded email to our city councillor.

George doesn't know it yet but if we don't get a satisfactory response, he will be climbing the tree and living up there until the city comes to its senses. I will send up daily rations of food and water. And if need be, we will get married in that tree.

Our squirrels need somewhere to live!

Fight the power!

The invitations have been printed and will be mailed out this week.
Our friend said yes, he'd love to marry us.
We've started piling up on booze and pop.
Our outfits have been booked.
And just yesterday we found our rings. they are spectacular! No People shit for us, thank you very much.
And the best part... mom called today to say she found a cowbell!

New Brunswick

Not too long ago, our friends Claire and Pierre moved to Sackville, New Brunswick. And since we're never one to pass up the opportunity to travel somewhere new and exciting, we hoped on a plane this past Friday evening and made our way there. Unfortunately we arrived at 2 in the morning since we got bumped and ended up on the last flight of the day.

No worries though... after a couple glasses of wine we jumped into bed excited for the sun to rise.

The weekend was filled with all kinds of exciting adventures, including;
• A visit to the Dieppe market where we picked up the makings of a picnic. The afternoon was then spent on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Highlight: homemade blueberry wine.
• Driving along the Bay of Fundy heading towards a local lobsterman. Unfortunately, he was closed so we kept driving and ended up at a Sobeys in Nova Scotia where we picked up three 2lb lobsters.
• Eating 3 2lb lobsters
• Watching Colin's expression as lobster juice was sprayed all over him
• Bar hoping Sackville's 3 bars
• ATVing in the back woods
• Managing to get an ATV stuck in mud. Pierre came to my rescue.
• Visiting some flowerpot styled rocks (a famous name but i've forgotten it) and watching as the tide quickly approached our feet.
• Realizing i lost my passport... but then finding it. Thanks Air Canada for not only finding it... but keeping it safe for me!

Our Garden

George and I have put a fair amount of effort into our property this spring. And it officially paid off last night... a couple were walking by last evening and they stopped to say our flowers were beautiful. I casually said "oh thanks," like it was nothing. But George said I had a smile from ear to ear.

Personally, I think the highlight is George's new lawn. What started out as a field of mud after a very wet winter has been transformed into a heaven for my bare feet.

The front garden is coming along very nicely although i'm having a little trouble with the area in front of the porch. Nothing seems to be growing there. The side of the house looks spectacular... a variety of Lily of the Valley, Hostas, Ferns and more are coming along nicely. The backyard, well, is another story. That'll be a task for next year we think.

The heirloom tomatoes I planted from seed are doing very well indeed. Nice thick stems... should produce some nice stuff. The peas are spreading their leaves and the beens are poking their heads through the soil as i write this. We also planted our lettuce the other night. yummy!

And we got ourselves a clothesline so you can expect to see our nasties blowing in the wind most weekends. Good timing, too, since our dryer just broke down!

Vacation: New York City

Not long after returning from Vancouver, George and I jumped on another plane and made our way to New York City to see the sights with our friend, Mary. I mean Frank.

We landed in New Jersey and after a short train trip, found ourselves amidst the hustle and bustle of Penn Station during morning rush hour. We decided to walk to our hotel in the rain since traffic was bumper to bumper along 8th Ave. After meeting up with Mary, we grabbed our cameras and headed out. After about five minutes, we decided to spend a few bucks and grab some ponchos. but not just any ponchos... I Heart NY Ponchos!

The rest of the day was spent walking around midtown and stopping into stores of interest. The day's highlights include;
• Purchasing a sausage in a moldy bun. BTW... what the hell is with NY and street meat?? Your choices of topping are mustard and ketchup. That's it. That's 1 of Toronto!
• Strolling and drooling through Crate and Barrel
• Seeing our first broadway show: Mary Poppins!
• Enjoying martinis and a lovely dinner at some restaurant near Times Square
• Going to a gay dance bar with a bunch of fuglys
• Going to a gay leather bar with a bunch of fuglys

Our second day was spent literally walking, walking and more walking. Highlights include:
• Seeing the remnants of the World Trade Centre (huge tourist attraction now)
• Shopping for dirt cheap clothes
• Fighting our way through Macys to buy a griddle and Martha Stewart pot

We had a blast!

Vacation: Vancouver

Well, it's been a busy vacation week let me tell you!

George and I decided to go out to visit Michelle and Gary in Vancouver for a couple of days and had a most wonderful time! Oh, and did I tell you we got to fly Executive Class on the way out? Wow... remodeled airplanes with seats that stretch out so you could sleep. And that is just what we did. Unfortunately i missed our freshly baked cookie and ice cream. George tried waking me up after the fact and that just made me miserable.

There were two trip highlights:
1) Mich and Gary took us on a mountain hike that began with a sign that read "this is not a walk in the park." We all laughed at that. Two hours later we weren't laughing. Great work out on the thighs. The view at top (well, not quite top but near the snow) was gorgeous. The hike ended appropriately with beer at a cute bar in some place called sasquatch or something like that. BTW... never sit in the back seat of a VW Bug. Veryyyy uncomfortable.

2) On our second day, George and I decided to spend the day wondering around Vancouver (because our feet didn't hurt enough!) After a couple of hours, we ended up on the waterfront watching planes take off and land on the water. As a joke, we decided to go in and check out prices. For the low low price of $149 each we could take a 40 minute aerial tour of Vancouver. Needless to say it didn't take an arm twisting to convince either of us to do it. Friggin awesome! Taking off and landing is way smoother than i expected. The views are awesome although it's obvious that there is lots of money in Vancouver. Every house along the coast is a mansion.
Mister George, however, decided to ditch me and sit up with the pilot. I was stuck in the back seat all by myself. To top it off, i noticed that those sitting in the back seat would likely die first if crashed into ocean as i would have to rely on people in front of me to open the damn door. But chances are they'd be dead so i'd drown.

We took the red eye home and celebrated my birthday in Toronto. Christine had a delicious bbq for us and we spent evening playing Badminton with kids.

squirrel poo

So it's been really friggin frustrating taking the dogs out onto our upstairs patio because we had a squirrel (s?) living under the damn thing. The door would open and our pups would go crazy smelling what's underneath, trying to get at them.

So the other day we said ENOUGH and tore up the floor.

We were afraid we'd come across baby squirrels - which we'd have to feed to our dogs or make a stew out of - but luckily we didn't. Just enough squirrel poo, newspaper, plastic, leaves and other seeding materials to fill one of those brown paper bags. Spent the whole bloody evening cleaning it up.

And the whole time the cute little guy sat in the tree and watched me. Felt a little bad for him.

But really, our comfort is much more important.

Green thumbs and dirt under the fingernails

This past weekend was spent in the garden planting roots of soon-to-be gorgeous flowers and George spreading his seed.

Grass seed that is.

The property is starting to take shape. It looks neat and tidy and the Lily of the Valley is about to bloom. One of our trees is in bloom and happily, the birds have taken a liking to our property. there is even a nest of sparrows on the roof! We're very excited about this as we've made an effort to make our place bird-friendly. We have two bird feeders and a bird house. Plus we've planted seeds of various grasses that apparently birds will love.

I also transplanted some flowers that I had been growing inside for the last month. George is happy to have the bedroom window sill back. I still have my tomatoes under the grow-op in the attic. They're coming along wonderfully. I'll probably put outside this weekend.

I also planted snow pea seeds in the back.

I can't wait to see our place in middle of August! Pictures will be posted.

Cheers to queers, part deux!

We finished our volleyball season last night and celebrated with beer, onion rings, nachos and a grilled cheese.

George's team ended up with a bronze medal. Looks wonderful hanging from his neck.

My team however, failed on all counts. Despite the fact that we ended up 3rd overall for the season, we couldn't pull anymore luck out of our collective assess to win the playoff games. Sadly, i went home naked.

A big cheers to George and his medal!

Cheers to queers!

Yet another curling season has come to a sweeping conclusion! (Get it? get it?)

It came down to the final rock of the entire season... and yes... our skip actually made a shot! We won Gold in F Division. Truly a good finale considering it was the first year for our team and George's first time playing!

I was hoping George was going to win rookie of the year cause he truly deserved it, but alas, he didn't.

Yes, we have a gay old time in the gay curling league. Cheers to us!

Concert

We saw Kathleen Edwards the other night at The Phoenix. And it was awesome.

I'm a huge, huge fan and George, well, he never heard of her. But because he's a sweety, he gladly humoured me and came along for the ride.

So who was that cheering and whistling ?? Yes, George.

I think he likes Kathleen a little bit now.

She played all my favourite songs, plus her most wonderful new ones, including the stunning Alicia Ross. We ended up right in front of the stage so we could see Kathleen sweat as she rocked out. And I got one of the cookies she threw out into the audience. I shall cherish forever.

bloomin'!

It's springtime... and all the bulbs we planted last year are starting to bloom. Yeah! Here's our first Daffodil.

I think this is what it feel like when giving birth to first child.

Mom update

Good news, Mom is finally coming home this weekend. She's flying direct from Argentina to Kitchener via Air Ambulance. Thankfully we got really, really good insurance. Did I say it's really good insurance??

She'll be landing tomorrow as long as this storm we're having doesn't get too out-of-control.

Sigh

No need naming our bird. He's resting peacefully with our other bird on egg shells and chicken bones.

We've given up with birds. Or they've given up with us. Whatever.

Our family gets smaller. then bigger.

You may or may not have heard that we picked up a new addition to our family about a month ago. A cute - but very loud - little canary that was unfortunately being a bit neglected due to circumstances completely beyond its control.

Anyway, it quickly made itself home. But one night after only a few weeks with us, I came home to a very quiet house. I walked upstairs and turned the light on. No scattering. I walked over to the cage. No bird sitting on perch. No biggie... he quite often would sit on the floor (the cage was higher than me sitting on top of a shelf). So I tapped the cage. Nothing. I looked in and upside down lay our canary. Dead. Recently dead as it was still soft.

Not sure what to do with him, I wrapped him in a paper towel and gently placed him on the eggshells and steak bones in our green bin. Earth to earth, literally. I cleaned the cage and put it away.

That night i was very depressed and lonely as George was out of town working. It was very quiet. That little guy made a big impression on our family.

The next day while at work, George got home and left me a message saying there was a surprise for me. Excited, I ran home and found... a new bird! Our parakeet is a gorgeous green and is very well trained. He actually comes out of the cage and sits on our fingers.

Lola isn't too impressed. Cierra is rather indifferent. Lenny is so excited she's wet. but George and I love our little bird. No name yet.

A New Purchase

We're buying this today.

Which means my clothes will start smelling like this.

Instead of this.

Too bad we didn't have a conservative gov't that created something like a tax free savings account or something.

Issues

I'm home now. One would think I would be over the rainbow, but sadly I'm not. I'm happy to finally be home with my family. I hate the fact that we all had to put up with this. Life seems to love to throw crap at me.

Brought dad home. He went First Class on American Airlines. Maria went on his flight too but sat in Coach. I heard later on that she tried her hardest to get upfront but, the flight attendants were no dummies.

I took a later flight. I was suppose to be with mom. Sadly in the later afternoon the US nurse saw that her heart rate had increase and demanded tests to rule out things like a blood clott. The test came back neg. But they missed the flight.

I got home Friday afternoon, by late afternoon the insurance was calling. I thought it was to reconfirm the flight she was to take that evening. NO! She went in for an emergency operation on her Gallbladder. Lovely. Thankfully dad was admitted into GrandRiver Hospital in Kitchener. But of course Maria with her big mouth told him. The women doesn't get it!

The insurance company told me that she needed time to recover from the operation but if all went well she should be home by end of week.

Today being Tuesday, they are saying another week due to increased abdominal air/pressure due to the operation. Wonderful. Lets hope dad stays in until she is back. I doubt it.

some good news

My honey comes home tomorrow. At noon.

I'm happy.

The end is near

So yesterday (Sunday) I met with the new doctor who is taking over my parents. The other doctor (his sister) is on vacation. Would have been nice to have informed me of that. but I guess she was too busy packing the sun tan lotion.
I told the doctor that we should plan on a Monday flight. Mom was recovering fast and well. He disagreed. Imagine that a doctor disagreeing with a patient or son of a patient. He reminded me that I was not the doctor. Niiiice.
He said its the weekend and only Monday something (maybe) can be done. I was not impressed.
So today I called him to see what was up, now that everyone is back to work. He told me that he tried calling the insurance company but it was closed.....must be President's Day in the US or something. I advised him that even if it was a holiday, the insurance company is open 24/7!!! He disagreed.....AGAIN.
So I called and voila, they were open. I gave the good ol' doctor's phone number to them and told them to call.
I went on with my day. Got my mom new glasses as her's had broke. And took a visit to her. She finally moved out of ICU and into a room. Now this room...or small bachelor suite, is huge. Has a seperate livingroom and all. I could sleep there if I wanted to. Huge. And needless to point out, I was right inregards to mom's condition getting much much better.
I talked with the insurance comapny again, and they had bad news. They can not fly out until Tuesday night, which means we can't leave till Thursday. F'n doctor.
So now I'm stuck here till Thursday. More food, hotel and taxi to pay for. F'n doctor.
I'm so pissed.

Saturday, February 16, 2008

Step by step

To my surprise, I walked into my mom's hospital room and there she was sitting upright. (with help of pillows and the nurse) The doctor told me that he is amazed that she is recovering so quickly! He tells me that her nerves are swollen and that is why she has trouble moving her arms, legs etc. He told me that physio will be needed. So when we were alone I started moving my mom's arms and legs asking her to move them too. by th end of dy she was moving them side to side.

No new news on dad's flight. The insirance copany will no send me a fax deniing the flight. They said because thy neither said yes nor no! In limbo...niiiiiice!
So I faxed out some papers I found from the cruise that out lined his chest infection. He is still coughing. But the doctors here say its nothing. Grrrr! dont they know.....

All my contacts at Europe Assitance are off for the weekend. So not sure if any movement over the weekend. FUN!

I love you

TOday is Valentine's Day. Sadly I am away from Rob; but I did send him a dozen long stem roses! He loved them! :) I'm glad he was happy!

Today was a productive day. I got my folks luggage and Maria and I cleaned and organized them. Most of the jewellry is gone. His camera is gone. Sadly its either been lost or stolen.

Visited mom. SHe is much better. On regular oxygen and she was very responsive to me and my questions. I asked her if she recognized me she answered yes. I asked her if she remembered my name she said George. That made me very relieved and happy.
The doctor came by and talked with me. Told me she is better, might be moved on Monday. Actually might go home on Monday. I hope so. The doctor advised me that mom might need physical therapy. This is becasue of the amount of time she was on the respirator. I asked if that meant she will be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life he said NO NO. Just a week or two max. Relief. After the doctor left I started to move my mom's arms and legs up and down asking her to hold and lift...but she couldn't. But thats ok I'll work on that. I noticed that my mom had a red spot on the end of her foot on the heel. I called in teh nurse and asked what that was. SHe told me in SPanish or course and I said "bed soar" and she said yes. I was like OMG!!! THis is not good. SHe can lose her foot, I told her. The nurse said no its only superficial. Its not deep. Oh I said. I then asked are there any other? She said yes. My heart dropped. On her back. Again she told me not to worry it is superficial and they are taking care of it. But I'm still very worried because after she left i went searching for it. Its HUGE. But is dressed and what not. so lets hope. After all that it was time for me to leave. As usual I rub my mom's head and brush her hair back with my hand. I tell her that I'm leaving to go sleep but will return again tomorrow. And I always end my visit with "I love you" Today she relied softly, "I love you".

Its amazing what 3 words can do to a grown man.

Back to the beginning

Saw mom today. She is off the respirator. YAY!!! still on a feeding tube and a couple of IVs. She also doesn't really wake up. I guess the meds she was on haven't worn off. Hopefully today she will be awake and able to talk. Its kinda hard talking alone!
While at the hospital I recieve a message from Rob that there was a serious issue with the insurance company and my father. Great! So I cut my visit short and ran back to the hotel.

An email was sent out to me telling me that the insurance company will not cover the cost of the flight home for dear old dad. They do not cover mental issues. The believe that his past history of mental issues and resurfacing now and will not cover it. So the cost for flying him out will be at least $20,000.00 US.
So I told the lady I can't afford that, and to tell the insurance company to tell me what other option there is, or are they going to leave him here.

Here I thought everything was going well. Father was to leave Friday. Now uncertain. I don't need this stress. I'm at the end of my rope. Really.

So everyone here is now trying to find something to change the insurance's mind.
Lets hope they do.

One day at a time

So day 2 in Buenos Aires.
The morning greeted us with rain. But that quickly changed to sun and heat and humidity.
Had an 11:00am meeting at the hospital my father is at. Met with the doctors and we agreed the best avenue is to get him back to Canada, even if its against his will. He wants to go with mom at the same time. One doctor explained that its not possible. Mom would be going via AirAmbulance and he could not be on it. So so far he's in agreement. So I signed all the paper work and it was sent off to the Judge. Hopefully tomorrow we will ahve signed copies. The insurance company told me hopefully they will be here either Thursday or Friday !!! I finally get ot meet the guy I've been talking with all this time from the travel insurance.

Mom. Mom is off most of her IV's. Only has 2. She is still very drugged up! but showing signs of alertness. She opened her eyes often and turn her head somewhat!!! Amazing. The little things we never think of that we do that is sooo important.
I talked with her for over an hour. Told her about the Portuguese food I made recently. Shopping. Anyting really. Hard to talk with someone who doesn't respond. But i know she can here me.
Its hard. Seeing my mom all tied up with tubes and wires and all that shit.

Well thats it for now. Time for bed soon. Time here seems to go faster then at home.
Tomorrow is an early day.

From Bad to Worse

As many of you may or may not know, my parents were on a 21 day cruise over the christmas holidays. Their cruise ended on the 10th of Jan and they were to catch a flight home that day. Sadly that did not happen.
As the story goes, my parents never packed. On the morning of the departure for the cruise they decided to pack. But if you know anything about packing, a rushed packing frenzy equals frogotten things. Guess what was forgotten. MEDS! ALong with other things.
So my diabetic mother had couple viles of insulin and no test strips. So for days and days my mother had no clue what her blood sugars were. No clue how much insulin to give etc etc.
She ended up many times in the ship's emerg room. The doctor did his best to help her and him out. (As he had issues of his own)
By the end of the cruise my father was nuts and my mom in ketoacidosis. Meaning she was poisioning her body. Off to the hospital she went in Buenos Aires. ANd has been since. Not the same hospital mind you, but none the less here.

I flew down for a week in Feburary to deal with all the happenings. My father thinking that he is the King of th World and my poor mother. She got well quickly while I was here, but because of HIM she stayed. I had to go as I had work calling and bills.

Today the 11th Feb, I'm back in Buenos Aires. My mother is in an indused coma and on a respirator. SHe has phuenomia and it spread throughout her body. There is a term for it but it slips my mind. the doctors said she is doing better and are slowly taking her off the 5-6 IVs she is on. Once thoughs are done out comes the respirator. YAY. then home. I'm hoping this all happens this week!

Father is in a mental institute by court order. I know! This happened because he, thinking he can do as he pleases and is invincible; was out walking the streets of Bueno Aires wearing all the gold and shit he bought. The police finally said enough. And placed a court order on him.
Tomorrow I have an appointment to meet him, the doctors and who ever else to sign him off ordering him back to Canada. That will mean either a straight jacket (as the doctors here want) or heavy meds. I've been told that he wants to wait for mom. But I disagree and feel the better option is for him to go NOW. So this show down will be fun tomorrow.

Maria came down with me. She has a good heart. Although sometimes gets too involved and starts to drive me. Let me deal with things. but at least someone is here. Sadly ROb has to stay home and stake care of the ever growing family and house.

I feel sorry horrible having to put Rob through all this. He is such a strong guy. Nothing seems to phase him. It worries me that he holds back. I love him so much and appreciate all the support he gives me.

I think that is it for now. Gonna watch the one crappy channel I get. Thank goodness for Tivo downloads!
